Santander British Grand
Prix Silverstone 2008
Englishman Lewis Hamilton handled
the wet conditions and captured Sunday's British Grand Prix Formula One
race. The No.22 McLaren Mercedes crossed the finish line over one minute
ahead of Nick Heidfeld.The victory was Hamilton's third of the season and
seventh of his F1 career. Rubens Barrichello, Kimi Raikkonen and Heikki
Kovalainen completed the top- five. "This is by far the best victory I
have ever had," said Hamilton. "It was one of the toughest races I have
ever done."
